for Malarkey and Judge
In the first idea the teams were something really advanced. This would give "progress" to the game: in the early phases a newbie would never be interested by teams, that's why is so difficult to maintain: the users must have the same orientation and different elements.
Then, the teams should be used as "teams", indeed, like in a small soccer match, during quests: when a quest is started to teams, with different orientation, apply and they win according to HOW they put the team in the field.
Giving teams to newbies, stopping limitations for early players, under 3xp points for example, in my opinion is rather risky, because players would create teams just for fun, huge teams with 10 or 20 players, and then suddenly discover that they should be disbanded when they reach 3 xp. If we give no limitation, indeed, there is also no limitation the number of players.
What do you think?
But your thought gave me another idea: if you think that players should be some how "helped" by a group of more advanced players, why not create some kind of "hero master"? If you have a hero master you can get some advantage, for example, but you cannot keep him after having a certain glory or xp.
